Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain network hardware and software, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
- Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to ensure optimal performance and security.
- Administer and maintain servers, both physical and virtual, including Windows and Linux environments.
- Implement and manage network security measures, including firewalls, antivirus software, and intrusion detection systems.
- Perform regular system backups and recovery procedures.
- Create and maintain documentation for network configurations, processes, and service records.
- Provide technical support and guidance to end-users.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of network hardware (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls) and software.
- Proficiency in administering Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Experience with network security practices and protocol.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications such as Cisco CCNA, CompTIA Network+/Security+, or Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator
