Job Description
We are looking to hire a suitable candidate to fill the position of Network Security Officer.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and control computer networks and associated computing environments like software for systems, software applications, equipment, and configurations.
- Troubleshooting Network security (Firewalls) and network problems.
- Ensuring that the organization's data and infrastructure are protected by enabling the appropriate security controls.
- Daily administrative tasks, reporting, and communication with the relevant departments in the organization.
- Configuring and installing various network devices and services (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN, QoS)
- Provide Level-2/3 support and troubleshooting to resolve issues.
Requirements:
- Minimum academic qualification of Bachelor’s Degree (First class Degree or a minimum of Second-Class Upper degree)in computer science or a technology-related field from a recognized University.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Good presentation skills
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- The candidate must be a self-starter willing to learn.
- Clear knowledge of hardware and network infrastructure.
