Job Summary
- We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Oracle Developer to join our dynamic team in Surulere.
- The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of hands-on experience in Oracle database development, PL/SQL programming, and performance tuning.
- You will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining database systems that are integral to our business operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement database objects (tables, views, indexes, procedures, functions) using Oracle PL/SQL.
- Write optimized SQL queries and PL/SQL blocks for high-performance applications.
- Conduct performance tuning and query optimization to ensure database efficiency.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation for database design and procedures.
- Collaborate with application developers and business analysts to meet functional requirements.
- Monitor and maintain data integrity, security, and availability across environments.
- Participate in code reviews and enforce database development best practices.
- Assist with database troubleshooting, bug fixing, and support activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 3–5 years of proven experience as an Oracle Developer.
- Strong proficiency in Oracle 11g/12c/19c environments.
- Solid knowledge of PL/SQL, SQL tuning, stored procedures, triggers, and packages.
- Experience with database design and data modeling concepts.
- Familiarity with Oracle development tools (e.g., TOAD, SQL Developer).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and team collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Oracle APEX, Forms/Reports is an added advantage.
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum development processes.
- Knowledge of version control systems like Git.
