Salary: 250,000

Responsibilities

  • Perform penetration tests on web applications, networks, and systems to identify security vulnerabilities.
  • Simulate cyberattacks, including vulnerability exploitation and post-exploitation scenarios.
  • Develop and deliver detailed reports outlining vulnerabilities, risks, and recommended remediation strategies.
  • Collaborate with internal security teams and clients to understand business risks and design secure solutions.
  • Assist in developing custom scripts or tools to automate security testing processes.
  • Stay updated on the latest security threats, exploits, and trends in the cybersecurity landscape.
  • Provide expert guidance to clients on risk mitigation and vulnerability management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2+ years of experience in penetration testing, vulnerability assessments, or red teaming.
  • Proficiency with penetration testing tools such as Metasploit, Burp Suite, Nmap, Nessus, and Wireshark.
  • Strong understanding of common attack vectors and vulnerabilities (OWASP Top 10, network security, social engineering).
  • Relevant certifications (OSCP, CEH, GPEN) are a plus.
  • Experience with scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, Bash) for automation is desirable.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality results under minimal supervision.
