Responsibilities
- Maintain an in-depth understanding of politics, energy, and micro-economy to produce sophisticated and confident writing.

- Ensure breaking news is published promptly across your assigned beats and other designated areas.

- Represent Nairametrics at events, media briefings, press conferences, and television/radio interviews.
- Create original content and enhance existing content while adhering to SEO best practices.
- Brainstorm, research, and contribute innovative ideas for content tailored to the target audience.
- Cover all regulatory topics within your assigned beat as directed by your editor.
- Monitor and report on metro and trending news across social media platforms as assigned.
Requirements
- Interested candidates should possess a BSc / HND in any relevant field with at least 2 years work experience.
- Strong writing skills with an ability to produce clear, concise, and well-researched articles.
- In-depth knowledge of politics, energy, and micro-economy, with a keen understanding of current trends.
- Proficiency in SEO and digital content creation best practices.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to meet tight deadlines consistently.
- Strong research and analytical skills to produce accurate and insightful content.
- Flexibility to attend events, briefings, and interviews as a representative of Nairametrics.
- Experience in writing various content types, including explainers and listicles.
