Key Responsibilities:
- Pricing Strategy Development
- Develop and implement pricing strategies for pharmaceutical products to ensure competitiveness and profitability.
- Monitor pricing trends and adjust strategies to respond to market dynamics.
- Market Analysis
- Conduct comprehensive market research to assess competitor pricing, market demand, and customer preferences.
- Identify opportunities for product positioning and differentiation.
- Data Collection and Reporting
- Gather and analyze data from various sources, including internal sales data, market reports, and customer feedback.
- Prepare detailed reports and dashboards to present findings to stakeholders.
- Stakeholder Collaboration
- Work closely with sales, procurement, and marketing teams to align pricing strategies with business goals.
- Provide recommendations to leadership based on market insights.
- Regulatory and Economic Awareness
- Stay updated on regulatory changes, currency fluctuations, and economic trends affecting pricing strategies.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and guidelines.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business Administration, Data Analytics, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in pricing, market intelligence, or a related role, preferably in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with expertise in tools such as Excel, Power BI, or similar software.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of the pharmaceutical landscape in Nigeria is highly desirable.
