Job Description

This is a remote position.

We are looking for a Product Designer able to understand our business requirements and any technical limitations as well as be responsible for:

  • Conceiving and conducting user research, interviews and surveys.
  • Translating them into sitemaps, user-flows, customer journey maps, wireframes, mock-ups and prototypes.
  • Designing the overall functionality of the product, and in order to ensure a great user experience, iterate upon it accordance with user-testing.?

Responsibilities

  • Building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use.
  • Design and deliver wireframes, user stories, user journeys, and mock-ups optimised for a wide range of devices and interfaces.
  • Amend designs after feedback.

Requirements

You qualify for this role if you meet the following requirements. Ideally, you:

  • Are excited about working in a tech startup making an impact in the African intercity mobility and logistics space.
  • Have a strong portfolio of illustrations or other graphics
  • Have extensive experience in using UX design best practices to design solutions, and a deep understanding of mobile-first and responsive design.
  • Are familiar with design software and technologies (such as Figma, Zeplin).
  • Possess excellent communication skills.
