Job Details
- Conducting tests to determin6e the physical properties of materials, such as tensile strength and elongation.
- Assist in project deployment and being member of the project team in completing all projects in a timely, qualitative and cost-effective manner
- Communicating with clients or contractors about project status, working with engineers to develop designs for new projects, and providing documentation for completed projects.
- Evaluating and selecting new equipment that could improve efficiency or safety in the project.
- Conducting feasibility studies for new projects and investigating potential problems in existing processes or equipment.
- Understanding and installation of thunder & lightning arrestor systems
- Installation of LAN and WAN
- Providing support, including procedural documentation and relevant reports;
- Responding within agreed time limits to call-outs;
- Inspecting equipment to ensure that it is operating properly and efficiently.
- Assist in troubleshooting and repair of telecoms equipment e.g. Fusion Splicer’s and OTDRs etc
- Training workers in proper procedures for using equipment and machinery to reduce risk of injury or damage to equipment or materials.
