Mavin Records is the brainchild of African renowned producer and entrepreneur, Michael Collins Ajereh (Don Jazzy), Created as a wholly independent music label on May 8th 2012, Mavin Records immediately captured the world's attention. Mavin is home to Africa's most exciting musical talents with dozens of awards, hit singles, brand endorsements and other numerous achievements. The roaster boasts of renowned artistes such as Dr.SID, Tiwa Savage, D'Prince, Reekado Banks, Korede Bello and Di’Ja. These exceptional talents have all brought in their diverse musical backgrounds to the fore. New Producers Baby Fresh and Altims have also contributed their own quotas in making sure the label keeps shining. The result is a perfect blend of Soul, Hip-Hop, RnB and Afrobeat productions. The first album released under the label was Solar Plexus, a compilation album showcasing the talents of the Mavins. Released to huge popular acclaim, the album became part of national conversations. Other Albums like D'Prince (Frenzy), Tiwa Savage (Once Upon A Time) and Dr Sid (Siduction), have also achieved monumental feat to mention but a few. The Mavin team has wowed their audience and fans with their performances at different locations, settings and venues . These include performances at corporate and elite events, stadiums, musical concerts, and many more.
Job Description:
- Mavin Global is seeking a gritty promotions associate with a global mindset and tenacity to help drive the success of promotional initiatives.
- They will work closely with the promotion manager.
- Our ideal candidate will have excellent personal organization skills, a confident and calm personality, and an enthusiasm for the media and entertainment industry in Nigeria and internationally.

Responsibilities:
- Create local and international plans that target key demographics that maximize visibility for Mavin artists’ content, releases, and tour dates
- Build, maintain and leverage a database of local partners who define and influence culture including promoters, social influencers, writers, the tech community, lifestyle shops, club nights, and content creators
- Establish relationships with OAPs, on-campus clubs, influential leaders, trendsetters, and tastemakers to secure collaborations for artist releases, events, and programs
- Pitch artists’ content for college and local media (press/radio/blogs) coverage and placement
- Prepare monthly promotional recaps that will be distributed to the artist, their managers, and the label
- Research and pitch new initiatives that can maximize promotional efforts
- Work closely with the promotions manager and street team to amplify operational plans for the roster.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in communications-related fields such as public relations and advertising
- Detail-oriented and flexible
- Proficient in MS office
- Strong knowledge and network in the entertainment industry is an added advantage

- Increase media mentions which will in turn increase bookings for the artistes
