Job Summary:
- We are looking for an experienced QA Automation Engineer to develop and execute automated tests, as well as perform manual testing to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products.
- The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of automation frameworks, strong analytical skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality software.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, TestNG, or similar.
- Execute and manage automated test suites to validate software functionality, performance, and security.
- Perform thorough manual testing when automation is not feasible, ensuring comprehensive test coverage.
- Collaborate with development and product teams to understand requirements and develop effective testing strategies.
- Identify, document, and track software defects, providing detailed reports to facilitate resolution.
- Participate in requirement and design reviews, offering insights from a testing perspective.
- Continuously improve test automation frameworks and processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Mentor and guide junior QA team members on best practices in both automation and manual testing.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in QA, with a strong focus on automation testing.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- Extensive experience with automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, TestNG, JUnit).
- Strong understanding of manual testing techniques and methodologies.
- Proficiency in usability testing and UI testing
- Experience with CI/CD tools and integrating automated tests into build pipelines.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Knowledge of performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
