We are seeking a Quality Assurance/Cybersecurity Engineer who is responsible for ensuring the security, reliability, and compliance of the company's IT systems and software applications through rigorous testing and implementation of security measures. This role is critical in safeguarding the integrity of digital banking operations and financial transactions.

As a Quality Assurance/Cybersecurity Engineer, you will oversee the testing and assessment of software systems, ensuring they meet rigorous security standards and regulatory compliance, while also proactively identifying and mitigating potential vulnerabilities and risks.

SUCCESSFUL APPLICANTS WILL IDEALLY HAVE TO:

• Conduct regular security assessments, penetration testing, and vulnerability scanning of digital banking systems.
• Identify, report, and mitigate security vulnerabilities and threats.
• Develop, implement, and maintain QA processes and standards for software development and deployment.
• Perform automated and manual testing to ensure software quality and reliability.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, PCI-DSS, ISO 27001).
• Assist in risk assessments and management strategies to protect sensitive financial data.
• Monitor for security breaches and respond to incidents promptly.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
• Work closely with software developers, IT teams, and other stakeholders to integrate security measures into the development lifecycle.
• Document security protocols, QA processes, and incident response actions thoroughly.
• Provide training and guidance to staff on cybersecurity best practices.
• Promote a culture of security awareness within the organization.

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience (4+ years) in quality assurance and cybersecurity, preferably in the financial services, Fintech, digital banking payment provider or related industry.
• Strong knowledge of security frameworks, risk management, and compliance standards.
• Proficiency in security testing tools and methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISA, or CEH are a plus.
• Strong developer experience (Laravel) is an added advantage.
