Job Summary:
- The Quality Assurance Engineer will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure the highest quality of our software products.
- This role involves identifying and documenting software defects, collaborating closely with development teams, and conducting various types of testing, including functional, regression, and performance testing.
- Additionally, the Quality Assurance Engineer will play a key role in setting up and maintaining automated test processes in collaboration with DevSecOps.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure thorough coverage of all aspects of the software.
- Execute test cases and document test results, including identifying and tracking defects.
- Identify, document, and track software defects and issues in a clear and concise manner.
- Work closely with development teams to reproduce defects, prioritize issues, and ensure timely resolution.
- Conduct various types of testing, including functional, regression, and performance testing to ensure the software operates as intended under all conditions.
- Perform exploratory testing to uncover issues not covered by automated tests.
- Create, set up, and maintain automated test processes and frameworks in conjunction with DevSecOps practices.
- Continuously improve automated test coverage and efficiency.
- Prepare detailed test reports and documentation, including test plans, test scripts, and test results.
- Provide regular updates on testing progress and quality metrics to stakeholders.
- Advocate for quality assurance best practices and contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications or equivalent experience is also acceptable.
- Experience in using testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Postman, Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, JIRA, LoadRunner).
