Role Description
- This is a full-time hybrid role for a Quality Assurance Engineer at Termii Group.
- The role involves tasks such as test execution, quality assurance, manual testing, creating test cases, and software testing. While the role is 90% remote, the successful candidate will be required to work from the office at least once a week and should primarily be located in Lagos.
Responsibilities
- Ensure our services are thoroughly tested and ready to serve customers.
- Work with technical leads to develop a deep understanding of the system architecture.
- Help to conceptualise appropriate acceptance tests and automate them within our integration testing framework.
- Ensure tests run smoothly and quickly.
- Ensure that broken tests are rapidly directed to the responsible engineers for correction.
- Test current products and identifying deficiencies
- Suggest solutions to identified product problems
- Investigate product quality in order to make improvements to achieve better customer satisfaction
- Plan, create and manage the overall Quality Planning strategy
- Collaborate with the Product Development team to ensure consistent project execution
- Identify quality assurance process bottleneck and suggest actions for improvement
- Oversee continuous improvement projects
- Collect quality data
- Identify key KPIs for product quality
- Prepare and present reports and metrics to Senior Management
Role Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years developing in similar role
- Experience working with microservices/distributed systems.
- Experience in at least one major programming language
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities within cross-functional teams.
