Position Overview
- As the Quality Assurance Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet the highest quality and compliance standards.
- You will be responsible for developing and implementing quality assurance policies and procedures, overseeing quality control processes, and driving continuous improvement initiatives throughout the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement quality assurance policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and customer requirements.
- Establish quality control processes and procedures for product testing, inspection, and evaluation.
- Lead a team, providing guidance, support, and training as needed.
- Oversee the inspection of raw materials received by the inventory.
- Collaborate with suppliers to ensure their supplies meet the company’s quality standards.
- Oversee the testing and inspection of raw materials and finished goods to ensure they meet the quality standards of the company.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to assess quality performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production and Inventory, to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Analyze quality data and metrics to track performance, identify trends, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Manage customer complaints and quality incidents, ensuring timely resolution and effective stakeholder communication.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements related to quality assurance and incorporate them into the company's processes and procedures.
- Prepare reports and presentations on quality performance for management review and decision-making.
- Foster a culture of quality excellence and continuous improvement throughout the organization.
Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Quality Management, Food Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality assurance or quality control roles, with at least 2 years in a managerial or leadership position.
- Strong knowledge of quality management principles, methodologies, and tools (e.g., ISO standards).
- Proven experience developing and implementing quality assurance policies, procedures, and systems.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and make data-driven decisions.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively lead and motivate a team.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
