Job description
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand system requirements and performance expectations
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive performance test plans and scripts
- Identify performance bottlenecks, analyze test results, and provide recommendations for optimizations
- Work closely with development teams to integrate performance testing into the continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipeline.
- Conduct stress testing, load testing, and endurance testing to assess system reliability and scalability
- Develop and maintain performance testing frameworks and scripts using tools such as JMeter and Gatling
- Carry out both manual and automated testing to ensure end-to-end test coverage
- Monitor and analyze application and infrastructure metrics during performance tests
- Participate in root cause analysis of performance issues and contribute to their resolution
- Stay informed about industry best practices, tools, and trends related to performance testing
