Job Description

  • We are looking for a talented and experienced security consultant.
  • The Security Consultant will assess, develop, and implement security strategies to safeguard an organization’s information, assets, and systems from potential threats.
  • The role involves conducting security audits, identifying vulnerabilities, and providing solutions to enhance security measures.
  • The Security Consultant will work closely with IT teams, management, and clients to ensure that all security practices comply with industry standards and best practices.

Responsibilities

  • Perform regular security assessments, audits, and vulnerability tests to identify weaknesses in systems, networks, and applications.
  • Analyze existing security policies, processes, and controls to ensure they meet industry standards and compliance requirements.
  • Develop comprehensive security strategies and frameworks to address identified security gaps.
  • Propose and implement security tools, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems (IDS) to protect organizational data and assets.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry regulations and trends, advising on changes that may affect the organization's security posture.
  • Stay informed about the latest security threats, vulnerabilities, and technology trends to advise the organization proactively.
  • Identify, assess, and prioritize security vulnerabilities within the organization's systems.
  • Collaborate with development teams to fix identified security flaws and vulnerabilities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity or information security consulting.
  • Hands-on experience in conducting security audits, risk assessments, and penetration testing.
  • Proven experience in implementing security policies and frameworks across various systems.
  • Strong understanding of network security, application security, cloud security, and data protection.
  • Familiarity with security tools and technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems (IDS), encryption, SIEM, and anti-malware tools.
  • Proficiency in penetration testing tools (e.g., Burp Suite, Kali Linux, Metasploit).
  • Knowledge of cryptography techniques and tools.
