- As an AjoCard Senior Android Software Engineer, you’ll contribute to the entire SDLC in a fast paced agile environment with a high focus on scalable design. Being part of our team you will see how your apps are working in production, what’s the value brought by it.

You will:
- Be part of self-managed cross-functional agile teams.
- Ship new features for mobile apps using Kotlin.
- Implement complex systems and evolve the application architecture based on reactive paradigms and with functional programming concepts.
- Triage bugs and exceptions reported in production.
- Take ownership and have an impact on the product.
- Engage in knowledge-sharing within your team as well as beyond
- Use and contribute to code quality standards practices.
- Manage and contribute to the development of CI and CD pipelines.
- Develop POCs/MVPs.
You need to have:
- 4+ years of experience working on Android-based projects.
- Experience with modern engineering practices such as clean code, TDD, refactoring.Thorough experience with the Android Open Source Platform and Material Design principles
- Advanced experience with Kotlin
- Experience with Reactive programming - RxJava/RxAndroid/RxKotlin
- Able to build software with a focus on testability - Test/Behavior Driven Development (Unit tests, integration tests. Knowledge in testing frameworks such as Spoon, Espresso, Mockito is a plus)
- Enthusiasm and passion to work in a team as well as solving problems independently. We hope you have:
- Experience with Model-View-ViewModel architectural patterns
- Experience with dependency injection
- Experience participating/speaking at meet-ups and conferences in the Android communityExperience working in Agile (Scrum) teams.
