Job Summary
As a Senior Angular Front End Engineer at Arca Payments, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining our cutting-edge payment platform. You will be responsible for crafting efficient, scalable, and maintainable front-end solutions using the Angular framework. Your expertise will contribute to enhancing user experience, ensuring seamless payment processing, and driving innovation in our product offerings.
Responsibilities
- Develop robust, responsive, and user-friendly web applications using Angular framework.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including backend engineers, UI/UX designers, and product managers to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Design and implement innovative features to improve payment processing efficiency, security, and reliability.
- Optimize application performance and ensure compatibility across multiple browsers and devices.
- Write clean, well-structured, and maintainable code following best practices and coding standards.
- Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and mentor junior team members.
- Stay updated with the latest front-end technologies, trends, and best practices, and incorporate them into our development process.
- Work closely with QA engineers to ensure thorough testing and bug-free releases.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues, and provide timely resolution to technical challenges.
- Participate in Agile development methodologies including sprint planning, stand-up meetings, and retrospectives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- 3 years of professional experience in front-end development with a strong focus on Angular framework.
- Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/TypeScript, and related web technologies.
- Experience with RESTful APIs and asynchronous programming.
- Solid understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and architecture.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with version control systems such as Git.
- Prior experience in the payment industry or related financial technology (fintech) sector is a plus.
