Job Responsibilities
- Participate in a team-oriented environment to develop heavy loaded web-based applications with complex business logic
- Develop new tools and applications by translating business requirements into Alison's system design
- Maintain and upgrade existing applications
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and make constructive suggestions for change
Required Qualifications
- Advanced experience in PHP and Laravel framework
- Solid knowledge of SQL and relational databases, MySQL experience is a plus
- Understanding of best practices for REST API development
- Knowledge and experience in AWS suite of tools and services an advantage
- Familiarity with the latest technologies and standards
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a love of technical challenges
- Must be self-motivated
- Used to rapid development in Agile, and working with associated toolsets (JIRA, Confluence)
