Job Summary
- We are seeking an analytical and strategic thinker to join our team as a Senior Business Analyst.
- This role will involve working with multiple stakeholders, leading a team, overseeing the entire company’s business intelligence and operations control processes that enable informed decision-making and optimize business performance.
- The ideal candidate should have past experience working with stakeholders, excellent problem-solving skills, a strong analytical mindset, and a proven ability to work collaboratively across multiple departments. The position reports to the Chief Operation Officer, and works with other departmental leads.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze business processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and recommend solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive dashboards and reports to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) across all business operations.
- Gather, analyze, and interpret data to provide actionable insights and support strategic decision-making.
- Efficient data quality skills, to maintain a wide range of data points.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align business objectives and identify areas for operational optimization.
- Lead the preparation of detailed business models, feasibility studies, and financial analyses to support project proposals and organizational goals.
- Develop and document business workflows, ensuring alignment with organizational strategies and compliance requirements.
- Monitor industry trends, competitive landscapes, and market conditions to provide recommendations for business growth and risk management.
- Support the management team in tracking and evaluating the impact of key initiatives and projects.
- Lead research and development for key corporate expansion or knowledge to enhance operations.
- Conduct pricing analysis, evaluate cost structures, and develop pricing strategies that align with market trends and company objectives.
- Lead market and industry research initiatives to identify emerging trends, opportunities, and risks that inform business strategy.
- Oversee data collection, storage, and management processes, ensuring accuracy, security, and accessibility of critical business information.
- Develop and implement performance tracking systems to evaluate operational efficiency, identify bottlenecks, and recommend process improvements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Statistics, Data or Business Analytics or a related field.
- Certification in Business Analysis or Project Management is an added advantage.
- 3 - 5 years of experience working with stakeholders, and reporting to the management.
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst or similar role, with a track record of driving successful business transformations.
- Proficiency in analytics tools like Google Suite, Power BI or Tableau, Advanced Excel, Flowcharts Software, and Database management skills.
- Strong business requirement experience, and management of projects/tasks to completion.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- Self-driven, proactive, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- An understanding of basic financial principles.
