Role Summary

  • As a Senior Business Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in driving cutting-edge software solutions at our client's company.
  • You will be responsible for analyzing business processes, identifying opportunities for improvement, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and implement effective solutions.
  • Additionally, you will oversee projects and take the lead on some business development functions, ensuring that offerings align with the evolving needs of their clients and the market.

Key Responsibilities

Business Analysis

  • Conduct in-depth analysis of client requirements, business processes, and systems to identify opportunities for optimization and enhancement.
  • Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to gather and prioritize business requirements.
  • Translate business requirements into actionable specifications and user stories for the development team.

Project Management

  • Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and deliverables to ensure successful project execution.
  • Manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring achievement of objectives within specified time and budget parameters.
  • Prepare detailed reports and ensure project and procurement documentation is up-to-date.

Tendering Process and Business Development

  • Act as a liaison between technical and non-technical stakeholders, facilitating communication and ensuring alignment.
  • Comply with laws, regulations, and policies governing procurement in the public sector.
  • Lead the tendering process, assess bids, and transparently and efficiently award contracts.
  • Conduct contract negotiations, evaluate vendor performance, and ensure suppliers fulfil contractual obligations.
  • Engage with stakeholders across various levels, including government officials, vendors, and the public. Comprehend their needs, communicate findings, and ensure alignment with business objectives and stakeholder
  • requirements.
  • Recognize possibilities for enhancing processes and operational efficiencies, including procurement procedures.
  • Contribute to strategic planning and decision-making, particularly concerning procurement strategies and policies within the public sector.
  • Guarantee that activities align with laws and regulations, especially in public procurement. Also, engage in risk assessment and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Conduct market research to stay informed about trends, competitor activity, and the industry landscape.

Requirements (Qualification / Experience)

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst, with a track record of successfully delivering complex software solutions.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
  • Solid understanding of project management principles and methodologies.
  • Experience with business process modelling, data analysis, and requirements elicitation techniques.
  • Familiarity with software development methodologies such as Agile or Waterfall.
  • Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP, CCBA) is a plus.
  • Attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Negotiation skills for contract discussions.
  • Proficiency in risk assessment and management.
  • Familiarity with procurement software and processes.
