Position Overview: 

  • The Communications Strategist will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive communication strategies to enhance the company's brand, increase engagement, and drive business objectives.
  • This role requires a creative and analytical thinker who can effectively communicate complex ideas to various audiences through multiple channels.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategy Development:

  • Develop and implement communication strategies aligned with the company’s goals and objectives.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and audience preferences.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive messaging across all platforms.

Content Creation:

  • Create, edit, and manage high-quality content for various communication channels, including social media, websites, press releases, and internal communications.
  • Ensure all content is consistent with the company’s brand voice and guidelines.

Campaign Management:

  • Plan, execute, and monitor communication campaigns to drive engagement and achieve business goals.
  • Analyze campaign performance and provide actionable insights for optimization.

Media Relations:

  • Build and maintain relationships with media outlets, journalists, and influencers.
  • Prepare press releases, media kits, and respond to media inquiries.
  • Organize and manage press events, interviews, and other media-related activities.

Internal Communications:

  • Develop and implement internal communication strategies to keep employees informed and engaged.
  • Create content for internal newsletters, announcements, and intranet updates.
  • Coordinate with HR and management to support organizational change initiatives.

Measurement and Reporting:

  • Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of communication strategies using relevant metrics and KPIs.
  • Prepare regular reports to communicate performance and suggest improvements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (3-5 years) in a communications role, preferably in a strategic capacity.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, social media, and content management systems.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with media relations and public speaking is a plus.
  • Proficiency in using analytics tools and software for tracking and reporting.
