Our client is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Senior Data Analyst to join their team.

The ideal role holder will be responsible for owning the end-to-end data analysis process sourcing, transforming, analysing, and interpreting data to support strategic decision-making and improve business performance.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Partner with business stakeholders to understand goals and define success metrics aligned with business objectives.
  • Translate business problems into data questions; design robust analytical approaches to solve them.
  •  Develop predictive models and statistical analyses to forecast trends and identify opportunities.
  •  Proactively surface insights that inform strategic priorities, customer segmentation, channel effectiveness, and operational efficiency.
  • Extract, clean, and transform large datasets from multiple sources including internal databases, CRMs, marketing platforms, and cloud data warehouses.
  •  Design and maintain advanced dashboards and self-service BI tools for various teams using Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
  • Implement and improve data governance, accuracy, and consistency across all analytics outputs.
  • Track and evaluate KPIs across departments (marketing, finance, operations, etc.).
  •  Design and conduct A/B testing and other statistical experiments to measure business impact and guide decision-making.
  •  Identify bottlenecks, anomalies, and opportunities for optimization in real-time.
  • Work cross-functionally with technical and non-technical stakeholders to translate insights into strategic recommendations.
  • Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior analysts and support upskilling across departments.
  • Contribute to building a scalable data infrastructure and reporting framework that supports growth.

Person Specifications:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in data science, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Economics, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of proven experience in data analytics or business intelligence, preferably in a fast-paced, data-driven organization.
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation. 
  • Strong experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker) and building interactive dashboards. 
  • Solid experience with Excel for reporting and analysis. 
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language for data analysis (e.g., Python or R). 
  • Experience with statistical modelling, forecasting, and machine learning is a strong advantage 
  • Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and a passion for problem-solving. 
  • Ability to communicate insights effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences. Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently and lead complex projects. Experience with Python or R for data analysis.
