Role Description
- This is a hybrid role for a Senior Data Engineer.
- As a Senior Data Engineer, you will be responsible for the day-to-day tasks associated with data engineering, including data modeling, ETL (Extract Transform Load), data warehousing, and data analytics.
- This role is primarily located in Lagos with flexibility for some remote work.
Qualifications
- Data Engineering, Data Modeling, and ETL (Extract Transform Load) skills
- Experience working with SSIS is very important
- At least 5years experience is needed
- Data Warehousing and Data Analytics skills
- Experience in working with large-scale data infrastructure and pipelines
- Strong programming and scripting skills, such as Python, SQL, and Shell scripting
- Experience with cloud platforms, such as AWS or GCP
- Experience with big data technologies, such as Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka
- Knowledge of data governance, data security, and data quality best practices
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field
