Job objective(s)
- To provide reliable operational and technical support for card payment applications by managing issuing and acquiring configurations, supporting card programs, performing testing and system upgrades, and ensuring stable, secure, and efficient transaction processing through proactive monitoring, collaboration with issuers, schemes, and internal teams, and continuous system improvement.
Duties & Responsibilities
Application Support & Operations
- Provide functional and technical support for C+ applications including TWO, TWMG, and TW FIMI.
- Monitor system performance, transactions, and alerts to ensure high availability and service continuity.
- Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve application incidents and issues within agreed SLAs.
- Perform routine system health checks and proactive issue prevention.
Issuing & Acquiring Support
- Support card issuing and acquiring projects in collaboration with issuers, acquirers, and payment schemes.
- Assist with onboarding new issuers or merchants and maintaining existing relationships.
- Ensure compliance with scheme rules and internal operational standards.
Configuration & Program Setup
- Perform configuration changes for existing environments.
- Set up new card programs and acquiring programs, including parameters, profiles, fees, limits, and routing.
- Support changes related to products, BINs, merchants, terminals, and transaction flows.
Testing & Quality Assurance
- Conduct host-to-host testing with external partners, issuers, acquirers, and schemes.
- Support UAT and QA activities, including test case execution, defect tracking, and resolution verification.
Transaction Monitoring & Analysis
- Monitor live transactions to detect anomalies, failures, or performance issues.
- Analyze transaction data and logs to identify root causes and recommend corrective actions.
- Support settlement, reconciliation, and transaction-related investigations when required.
Upgrades & Change Management
- Support upgrades of TW solutions and related components.
- Participate in release planning, deployment activities, and post-upgrade validation.
- Maintain documentation for configurations, processes, and system changes.
Collaboration & Documentation
- Work closely with internal teams such as IT, Operations, QA, and Project Management.
- Liaise with external vendors, schemes, and partners for issue resolution and testing.
- Prepare and maintain operational and technical documentation.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Education University: First degree(s) in Engineering, Computer science, Information Technology or Applied Sciences.
- Others: Working knowledge of SQL, Transaction switching and Processing, Card Schemes, Jira, Project Management & Business Analysis would be an added advantage
- May require on-call or after-hours support during critical incidents, upgrades, or deployments.
- Collaborative role involving coordination with local and international teams.
Experience:
- Understanding of the key technical concepts in I.T & Electronic Payments.
- Candidate should possess ability to relate with clients to achieve business goals. Minimum of 10 Years working/managing Transaction processing solutions/architecture.

- Technical Skills
- Experience supporting Payment processing applications. For example C+ (TW) payment applications such as TWO, TWMG, and TW Fimi will be an added advantage.
- Strong understanding of card issuing and acquiring systems.
- Knowledge of payment schemes (e.g., Visa, Mastercard) processes and messaging.
- Experience with configuration management, host-to-host integration, and transaction monitoring.
- Familiarity with testing methodologies (UAT, QA, regression testing).
