Role Description
- This is a full-time on-site role for a Mid-Level Graphic Artist located in Lagos State, Nigeria. The Graphic Artist will be responsible for creating and editing graphics, image editing, graphic design, and logo design.
Job Description
- Maintain brand consistency, design logos, social media graphics, newsletters, brochures, ads, flyers, signage, etc. and prepare files for pre-press, print production and for the web.
- The employee is also responsible for redesigning and updating internal and external publications; prepare and maintain a job log; define timelines
- Study design briefs and determine requirements
- Schedule projects and define budget constraints
- Conceptualize visuals based on requirements
- Use the appropriate colors and layouts for each graphic
- Work with copywriters and the creative director to produce the final design
- Test graphics across various media
- Amend designs after feedback
- Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand.
Requirements
- Education: Minimum requirement: HND / BSc
- Experience: Minimum requirement: 6-7 years professional experience in a related field
- Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in Corel-draw and Photoshop
- Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to roll up one's sleeves to get the job done
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must be able to use Corel Draw
- Understanding UI/UX is an added advantage
