- The role involves managing QA operations, with responsibilities including proactive follow-up on defects with developers and DevOps, converting manual test cases to automation using languages like C#, JavaScript, or Java, and conducting database testing and analysis of stored procedures.
- The candidate should be skilled in testing techniques such as boundary value analysis and equivalence class partitioning, have excellent communication skills for client interactions, and be capable of managing deadlines and adapting to changing requirements.
Required key skills:
- Should be proactive in following up with Developers, DevOps, etc. on open defects.
- Should be adaptive in understanding complex algorithm techniques.
- Should be proficient in converting manual test cases to automation using languages like C#, JavaScript, and Java.
- Good exposure to database testing. Should be able to work with developers by analyzing stored procedures.
- Proficient in testing techniques like boundary value analysis, equivalent Class partitioning, and Decision Table Based Testing methods.
- Has excellent communication skills to handle any issue, requirement discussion, or daily stand-up call with Clients.
- Ability to manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements.
- Experience in creating test cases, test scenarios, requirement documents, and other documents that are required from time to time for projects and managing QA Operations
- Should have good experience in STLC, SDLC
- Should be able to drive manual testing, API/Webservice Automation, Integration testing, and Gathering requirements for existing products
- Should have experience configuring Jira, Zendesk, GitHub, Quality Centre, TFS, and Mantis
- Should be Self-motivated and self-driven.
- Should understand deliveries and can adapt to the changing requirements.
- Preference to test engineers from the education domain. Especially, assessment software.
Responsibilities:
- Proactive and timely communication with the team, client, and management.
- Work collaboratively with testers, developers, and stakeholders.
- Effective follow-up for Defects, Backlog tasks, etc till closure
- Manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements.
- Create understanding documents, detailed or high-level test case scenario documents, minutes of meetings, and other documents to support QA operations.
- Create and Execute Test plan to ensure software product design specifications meet standards.
- Constant involvement needed with the development team to improve product quality.
