Job Brief
The Senior Quality Assurance Engineer will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products and services. This individual will lead the QA team, develop and implement testing strategies, and work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve issues. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in software testing, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for delivering high-quality products.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor the QA team, providing guidance and support to junior members.
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive test plans, cases, and scripts.
- Conduct manual and automated testing to identify and resolve software defects.
- Collaborate with development, product management, and other stakeholders to ensure product quality and user satisfaction.
- Perform regression testing, performance testing, and usability testing.
- Identify, document, and track software defects using bug-tracking tools.
- Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in software testing and quality assurance.
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to development teams.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3-5+ years of experience in software quality assurance.
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Proficiency in test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, QTP, JUnit, TestNG).
- Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., LoadRunner, JMeter).
- Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Detail-oriented with a passion for delivering high-quality products.
