Field designs and builds innovative solutions for improving child survival and access to health commodities in several African countries, with a focus on innovative logistics solutions. Required
- 8+ years professional experience architecting, building and maintaining production information management systems
- Professional experience architecting software to address complex business needs (supply chain or similarly data-dense field)
- 5+ years professional experience with client- and server-side Javascript, and both relational and document-oriented databases (Postgres, CouchDB, AWS, React ideally)
- Excellent human communication skills and experience working in cross-cultural settings
- A deep curiosity about information architecture, design patterns, and critical evaluation of new technologies
- Experience with serverless and event-driven application architectures
- Degree in computer science, or comparable work experience
- Excellent problem solving skills and ability to think about solutions in an holistic way
