Job Description
Operations
- Liaise with RE and commercial team for sites planned for decommissioning, relocation and consolidation.
- Ensure technical site survey/audit is done for all sites where decommission, consolidation and relocation are to be carried out
- Compile all sites to be decommissioned into a pool and work with assigned suppliers.
- Interface between operators, RE and commercial for ITP issued on all planned sites.
- Interface with legal/commercial departments for sales approvals for decommission activities.
- Responsible for site decommissioning; tower, fence, tank and power equipment reversal/buyback
- Interface with commercial account managers for sites decommissioning and asset disposal/reversal
- Interface with procurement department for the preparation of BOQ of relocation sites, for requisition and approvals.
- Interface with Finance team and Treasury unit to have proper financial record and documentations of all asset sold or decommissioned
- Comprehensive review of decommissioned site to sign off from landlord and keep all records intact
- Implement vendor progress monitoring for relocation sites and ensuring sites are brought back on air. Ensuring acceptance of site by different operators.
- Responsible to thoroughly understand and communicate Meeting requirements to appropriate team members and manage all requirements accordingly to realize the business target
General Duties
- Promote communication between colleagues for the benefit of information flow and to curb any problems that arise
- Write and submit reports to the Senior Manager Implementation and Optimization in all matters relating to decommissioning, relocation and consolidation
- Manage relationships with partners/suppliers
Qualifications
- 1st degree in Telecommunication Engineering or related discipline
- Upwards of 4 years’ experience in the telecommunications Industry
