Sydani Initiative for International Development is a management consulting firm based in Abuja, Nigeria. With our team of experienced management consultants, we design, deploy, monitor and evaluate impactful programs and interventions to improve the health and social sectors in Nigeria and globally.

  • The SIRI Fellowship Program provides a unique learning experience for individuals passionate about driving impact through evidence generation, knowledge products, and innovative solutions. Fellows will be actively engaged in projects spanning health, education, climate change, energy, and agriculture, and will be mentored by SIRI researchers and subject matter experts in a dynamic, high-performance environment.
  • The SIRI Fellowship Program is five (5) months long, with the option of renewal subject to the fellow’s performance in delivering on SIRI’s core outputs (e.g., manuscripts, policy briefs, abstracts, data products). In addition, high-performing fellows may be considered for retention as full staff, subject to available vacancies.

Qualifications and Competences

  • A first-class or second-class (upper) degree from a recognized university.
  • Applicants with a second-class (lower) or third-class degree must possess a Master’s degree.
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical reasoning, and problem-solving ability.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Demonstrated competence in research methods, data analysis, and analytics applications (e.g., SPSS, STATA, R, Python, NVivo, Power BI, Tableau).
  • Ability to design, analyze, and interpret research studies and knowledge products.
  • A genuine interest in Research, international development, innovation, and evidence-based solutions.
