Job Brief:
- We are seeking a skilled Software Deployment and Support specialist to join our client in the Real Estate Sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in information technology, with expertise in computer systems, networks, and software applications. This role requires problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to maintaining and improving our ICT infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software components of our ICT infrastructure.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure timely resolution and minimal downtime.
- Implement and maintain security measures to protect our ICT systems and data.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights.
- Conduct regular backups and disaster recovery procedures.
- Provide technical support and assistance to end-users.
- Collaborate with vendors and service providers to procure ICT equipment and services.
- Develop and maintain documentation of ICT systems and procedures.
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies.
- Plan and implement ICT projects, upgrades, and migrations.
- Conduct periodic audits and assessments of our ICT environment.
- Train and mentor staff on ICT best practices and security protocols.
- Monitor and enforce compliance with ICT policies and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in on-call rotation and provide after-hours support.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- Professional certifications (e.g., CompTIA, Cisco, Microsoft) are an added advantage.
- Proven experience in ICT support and administration.
- Solid understanding of network protocols, security principles, and best practices.
- Proficiency in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting hardware and software components.
- Experience with virtualization technologies and cloud platforms is a plus.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity threats and countermeasures.
