Job Description
- Excellium, one of the leading providers of business software solutions and digital transformation experts, is seeking an experienced Software Implementation Consultant to join our dynamic team.
- The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully leading and executing complex software implementation projects within and outside Nigeria.
- This role requires a strong technical background, excellent project management skills, and a deep understanding of software implementation methodologies.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage end-to-end software implementation projects, from initiation to post-implementation support.
- Develop and execute comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resources allocation, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Monitor project progress, potential issues, and implement corrective
- Possess a strong understanding of software implementation methodologies and best practices.
- Configure and customize software solutions to meet specific client requirements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during the implementation process.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor.
- Effectively communicate project status, risks, and opportunities to clients and stakeholders.
- Manage client expectations and address concerns promptly and professionally.
- Lead and mentor a team of implementation consultants, providing guidance and support.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performing team culture.
- Provide ongoing support and training to clients to ensure successful adoption of the software solution.
- Monitor system performance and address any issues that arise.
- Any other assigned tasks by management
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Finance, Economics or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years experience in software implementation consulting
- Proven track record of successful project delivery.
- Strong technical skills in SQL, Database, troubleshooting, Power BI and Cloud computing
- Excellent project management skills, including planning, scheduling, and risk management.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work under pressure.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel within and outside Nigeria when required.
- Experience with ERP systems (Sage, Microsoft, Zoho, etc) is a significant advantage.
