Job Summary, Scope and Impact

  • As a Software Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful and timely delivery of software projects and covers Quality Assurance responsibilities in the department.
  • The Software Project Manager will collaborate with stakeholders, lead cross-functional teams, manage timelines, enforce quality standards.
  • The role encompasses a comprehensive scope, covering project planning, team coordination, timeline management, quality assurance responsibilities and continuous improvement ensuring coding standards, documentation, and retrieval processes meet the highest standards.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Project Planning and Schedulling; Stakeholder Collaboration, Project Plan Development
  • Team Coordination; Stakeholder Coordination and Software Team Collaboration
  • Timeline Management;Industry standard project timelines, Monitoring Project progress and potential delays
  • Communication and Reporting; Regular Status Updates and clear communication and reports
  • Risk Management and Quality Assurance; Risk Mitigation strategies and detailed quality assurance (Industry standard coding, policies and procedures)
  • Manpower Planning and Resource Management;Prioritize Manpower planning, scheduling and replacements in Collaboration with the Talent Acquisition Team.

Key Performance Indicators

  • Percentage of projects delivered on or before the scheduled deadline.
  • Percentage of work audits identifying and rectifying deviations from project requirements and coding standards.
  • Percentage Resource utilization rate.
  • Number of successful project deliveries per team member.
  • Percentage reduction in the occurrence of identified risks.
  • Number of implemented process improvements.
  • Number of critical defects per project.
  • Percentage of projects delivered within budget.
  • Customer satisfaction score based on project delivered.

Requirements and Skills

  • Candidates should possess Bachelor's or Master's Degrees in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields
  • Minimum 6 years quality experience in similar role with proven leadership capacity.
  • PMP and IT Certifications is an added advantage.
  • Proven experience as a Software Project Manager, QA with a focus on timeline management.
  • Strong understanding of software development methodologies.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in project management tools and methodologies.

Remuneration and Benefits

  • Salary: N700,000 - N900,000 Net Monthly.
