JOB DESCRIPTION
Mission/ Core purpose of the Job
- The Specialist - Sales Roaming is directly responsible to providing support to the entire Roaming Sales team, with the development and implementation of innovative roaming agreements, interpreting timely wholesale roaming intelligent reporting and roaming contract administration.

The Specialist – Roaming Sales will be accountable to achieve the following objectives:
Core:
- Analyse wholesale roaming pricing and revenue performance of wholesale IOT deals.
- Aid the team with data to define a sales strategy to grow wholesale roaming revenues.
- Help to define regional wholesale roaming negotiation targets to optimise roaming revenues.
- Maintain the Wholesale Roaming Dashboard to analyse and report on Wholesale performance.
- Management of roaming agreements and databases; ensure that contracts are current and that partners operate to agreed SLAs, escalating deviance where required.
Responsibilities:
- Analyse regional wholesale growth of the roaming hub from current wholesale roaming deals.
- Create periodic reporting on roaming deals, performance of discount targets, steering impact, and pricing in support of the Wholesale team.
- Provide roaming financial analysis and support the team in developing business cases.
- Review and verify the accuracy of roaming rates defined in the IN/Billing System to guarantee correct billing and charging for services.
- Prepare and evaluate budgeting and forecasting for Wholesale.
- Develop databases and analytics or predictive models to identify revenue gaps/opportunities.
- Facilitate the exchange of roaming documents, tariffs, and information between roaming partners and relevant stakeholders.
- To ensure that roaming contracts are correctly filed, circulated with stakeholders and quarterly audits are carried out.
- Maintain a deep understanding of GSMA roaming processes and standards, ensuring compliance, and leveraging them to our advantage.
- Autonomously operate within the policies, procedures, systems and frameworks applicable to the Roaming Section to enable the section to operate efficiently.

- Support Sales Roaming team in Deal Presentation for Pricing Committee.
- Statistical input into Wholesale Roaming Strategy for the Roaming Hub
- Statistical input into Yearly Wholesale Master Prioritisation List (WMPL) to prioritise IOT deals

QUALIFICATIONS
Job Requirements
(Education, Experience and Competencies)
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in business or accounting or engineering; specialisation on Statistics and/or Analytics
- MBA or equivalent graduate-level financial analytical education (preferred)
- English: verbal and written proficiency
Experience:
- 3 years’ experience gained working in an MNO wholesale roaming or finance operation.
- 3 years’ experience in financial modelling and analysis, plus prior use of various tools
- 3+ years of progressive experience in data analytics and data analytics software
- Proven ability to construct databases, datasets, and ensure data quality.
- Experience in performing quantitative statistical analysis (preferably in a roaming team)
- Experience in presenting complex data to decision-makers concisely.
- Familiarity with GSMA roaming processes and regulations (preferred).
