Job Summary
Supports the Senior Strategy Associate and the broader strategy team in the development and implementation of strategic initiatives. This role involves conducting research, analysing data, and providing administrative support to ensure the effective execution of Credit Direct’s strategic goals.
Job Details
Strategic Analysis and Support:
- Conduct market research and gather data to support strategic planning and decision-making.
- Analyse industry trends, competitive landscape, and internal performance metrics.
- Prepare reports and presentations on research findings and strategic insights.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather information and support strategic initiatives.
- Maintain clear and effective communication with the Senior Strategy Associate and other team members.
- Prepare and distribute communication materials related to strategic planning and initiatives.
- Provide general administrative support to the strategy team.
- Assist in organizing and maintaining strategic planning documents and resources.
- Help with the preparation of presentations and materials for strategic meetings and workshops.
- Analyse data to identify opportunities for process improvement and business growth.
- Work cross-functionally to size markets and develop launch strategies for new opportunities.
- Develop strategies for entering new categories and markets.
- Assess our ability to win, and competitive threats in new and existing markets
- In-depth quantitative analysis of Global Markets business results and internal metrics, third party competitive benchmarking data, to support a broad range of bespoke strategy projects.
- Provide administrative support for strategic planning meetings, including production of written memos, briefing materials scheduling, agenda preparation, and minute taking.
- Keep up to date with technical developments for business area.
Execution Support:
- Provide dedicated support in project management, ensuring that strategic initiatives are executed effectively and on schedule.
- Develop and maintain a system for tracking progress and follow-ups related to strategic initiatives.
- Develop reporting dashboards to track top Objectives & Key Results (OKRs)/KPIs and measure success.
- Help track key corporate performance indicators and other metrics to monitor the success and effectiveness of implemented strategic initiatives.
- Assist in preparing performance reports and dashboards for the senior strategy team and other stakeholders.
- Identify data discrepancies and work with relevant departments to resolve issues.
- Assist in the planning and execution monitoring of strategic projects.
- Coordinate strategic planning activities and timelines, ensuring tasks are completed on schedule.
Requirements
- B.Sc degree from a reputable university.
- Relevant postgraduate/master’s degree will be an added advantage.
Experience:
- A minimum of 1-3 years of experience in strategy, strategy consulting, business analysis, or a related field is preferred.
- Proven track record of supporting strategic initiatives in a corporate environment is an added advantage.
- Experience in consulting, financial services or corporate strategy is an added advantage
- Financial service industry experience is an added advantage.
- Knowledge of research tools and access to market research.
