Job Summary
- LexMedical is seeking a skilled and experienced developer to oversee the technical aspects of a healthcare marketplace project. The ideal candidate will ensure that all deliverables meet high-quality standards, manage platform integrations, and uphold strict confidentiality throughout the project lifecycle.
- This is a part-time, flexible role, requiring approximately 15-20 hours per week with milestone-based evaluations.
Responsibilities
Oversight and Coordination:
- Monitor the progress of the 3rd-party development team to ensure alignment with project requirements and timelines.
- Provide technical guidance and support during design and development phases.
Out-of-Scope Integrations:
- Implement and test integrations such as:
- APIs for external services (e.g., payment gateways, analytics tools).
- Data management systems and third-party applications.
- Troubleshoot integration issues and optimize performance.
Quality Assurance:
- Conduct code reviews and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Set up automated testing frameworks for critical functionalities.
Confidentiality and Security:
- Ensure strict adherence to confidentiality protocols, safeguarding sensitive data and proprietary information.
- Work with LexMedical’s leadership to maintain secure development processes.
Collaboration:
- Act as the liaison between LexMedical and the 3rd-party vendor.
- Communicate updates, risks, and technical challenges to stakeholders.
Requirements
Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on platform oversight and integrations.
- Demonstrable experience in healthcare, SaaS, or marketplace platforms is a plus.
Skills:
- Strong proficiency in programming languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript, or PHP).
- Hands-on experience with API development and integration.
- Knowledge of cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices.
