Unicane Industries Limited was established and incorporated as a private limited company in the year 2013 under the company Acts of 1990. Unicane Industries Limited is a member of a long-standing group in Nigeria founded in 1953. The group is a leading ethanol producer in Africa and an industrial group of long experience and very good standing. The group is continuously expanding its activities which now count a wide range of agro-allied activities that include cassava to ethanol processing and refining. At present, its factory is located in Jamata, Kogi State.

Job Summary

  • As a Traffic/Data Entry Staff, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accurate and timely movement of goods, products, and information within our logistics network.
  • You will be responsible for managing data entry, tracking shipments, and maintaining accurate records of logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Data Entry: Accurately and efficiently enter customer snf account data by inputting text based and numerical information from source documents into our logistics management system within time limits , ensuring that all information is up-to-date and accurate.
  • Compile, verify and sort information according to priorities to prepare source data for computer entry.
  • Review data for defficiencies or errors ,correct any incompatibilities if possible and check output.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of logistics operations, including shipment documentation, inventory levels, and transportation data.
  • Communication: Collaborate with logistics team members, suppliers, and customers to ensure seamless communication and issue resolution.
  • Analysis and Reporting: Analyze logistics data and generate reports to identify trends, opportunities for improvement, and areas for cost savings.
  • Scan document and print files when needed.
  • Keeping information confidential and respond to queries for information and access relevant files
  • Comply with data integrity and security policies.
  • Apply data program techniques and procedures
  • Generate reports, store complted work in designation locations and performbackup operations.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar position in a manufacturing company, preferably in logistics or supply chain management.
  • Proven track record of accuracy and attention to detail in data entry and record-keeping.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues, suppliers, and customers.
  • Proficiency in logistics management systems and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
