Our client, a world-class Christian Publishing Organisation is seeking a talented transcriber to join its dynamic team.
The ideal candidate will accurately transcribe audio recordings into written form, paying close attention to details to ensure clarity and faithfulness to the original content.
Responsibilities:
- Transcribing and accurately translating audio recordings into written form with great attention to detail
- Collaborating with a cross-functional team of writers and editors to produce high-quality editorial content for publication
- Communicating effectively with team members regarding transcription requirements
- Ensuring that transcripts are presented in a timely manner
- Participating in comprehensive reviews of transcribed content to ensure it meets publication standards
- Maintaining confidentiality and discretion, especially for sensitive or confidential content
- Adhering to the company's style guide to ensure uniformity in writing style, formatting, and tone across all content.
Person Specifications:
- Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Transcriber or similar role, preferably in publishing.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills
- Attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
