Job Description:
As a UI/UX Designer (NYSC), you will be responsible for designing and enhancing the user experience and user interface of our digital products. You will work closely with software developers team, to create visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces that meet user needs and business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with software developers team to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals, and experience.
- Execute all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to engineering.
- Conduct user research and evaluate user feedback to enhance user experience.
- Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.
- Develop high-fidelity mockups and prototypes for web and mobile applications.
- Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices, and standards.
- Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g., responsiveness).
- Stay up-to-date with the latest UI/UX trends, techniques, and technologies.
Requirements:
- Currently enrolled in the NYSC program.
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven UI/UX design experience with a strong portfolio.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices.
- Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction.
- Ability to present your designs and sell your solutions to various stakeholders.
- Problem-solving and creative thinking skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
