Crossover Microfinance bank Ltd was first incorporated under the name Pacific Savings and Loans Ltd in 1992. With a new focus and team in 2010 the bank was later rebranded Crossover Savings and Loans Ltd aka Crossover Mortgage Bankers. With the ever growing financial need in the retail sector and with new investors, Crossover downscaled it operations from mortgage to microfinance in 2014 to empower micro and small scale businesses in the retail sector. It commenced full scale microfinance operations in March 2016. Crossover Microfinance Bank Ltd is duly licensed by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) and certified by NDIC with a paid up capital of N450 million.

Job Summary

  • We are seeking a skilled Video Editor to join our creative team in Ikeja.
  • The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of video editing software, strong storytelling skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with a variety of stakeholders.
  • As a Video Editor, you will play a critical role in crafting engaging and visually appealing content that resonates with our target audience.
  • Your expertise will be utilized in editing video footage, incorporating graphics and special effects, and ensuring the final product aligns with our brand standards.
  • You will also be responsible for managing multiple projects simultaneously, meeting tight deadlines, and adapting to various styles and formats as required.
  • The position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a keen eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities

  • Edit raw video footage into polished final products that align with project objectives.
  • Incorporate graphics, animations, and sound effects to enhance overall production quality.
  • Ensure video content adheres to brand guidelines and maintains a cohesive visual identity.
  • Manage multiple editing projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results.
  • Review and select suitable video footage to create compelling narratives that engage viewers.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, editing techniques, and software advancements to continually improve skills and production quality.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Film Production, Media Studies, or related field
  • Proven experience as a Video Editor with a strong portfolio showcasing a range of work.
  • Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar applications.
  • Strong understanding of video production processes, including camera operation, lighting, and sound.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a keen eye for visual composition and storytelling.
