Job Summary
- The Video Editor will be responsible for assembling recorded raw material into polished, finished products that align with the station’s vision and creative direction.
- The role requires both technical expertise and artistic flair, ensuring content is compelling, visually appealing, and aligned with brand standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit video content for television, online, and social media platforms, ensuring high-quality output.
- Collaborate with producers, directors, and content creators to bring creative concepts to life.
- Add graphics, sound, and special effects to enhance visual storytelling.
- Ensure all content meets broadcast standards and brand guidelines.
- Manage multiple editing projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Stay updated on the latest editing trends, techniques, and industry tools.
- Organize and archive footage for easy retrieval and future use.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Film Production, Media, Communication, or related fields (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience as a Video Editor in a media, broadcasting, or creative environment.
- Proficiency in industry-standard editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve).
- Strong sense of timing, visual awareness, and storytelling.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
- Excellent attention to detail, creativity, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
