Zino Aviation is a Pilot Training, Aviation Management and Consultancy firm that was founded by Captain Zino Mario. Capt. Zino is an experienced British-Nigerian Commercial Pilot who holds Airplane, Helicopter and UAV licenses. As a holder of EASA, FAA, as well as NCAA licenses, he has conducted flight training across the world and is highly conversant in flight training processes and practices.
Job Summary
- We are looking for a talented Video Editor who is also skilled in video shooting to join our dynamic team at Zino Aviation.
- In this role, you will enhance our digital storytelling by producing and shooting high-quality video content for our social media platforms and digital marketing campaigns.
- This position requires a keen eye for detail, a strong sense of visual aesthetics, and the ability to create engaging videos that resonate with today’s audiences, including trending formats like short videos with subtitles and pop-ups.
Key Responsibilities
- Creating and delivering motion graphics for various media.
- Selecting audio, video, colors, animation, etc. for digital content.
- Editing video footage and adding effects/elements, subtitles, and sound.
- Filming professional content with singular and multi-camera setups.
- Creating all content as described in the weekly/monthly content calendar.
- Working closely and reporting to the Digital Marketing Executive.
- Stay informed about the latest video production techniques and social media trends to keep our content cutting-edge.
- Contributing to team efforts by accomplishing tasks on demand.
- Meeting and superseding all deadlines assigned by Digital Marketing and CEO.
- Work closely with the Digital Marketing Executive and other team members to ensure content meets broader campaign goals
Minimum Requirements
- High Attention to Detail: Exceptional focus on the subtleties of both video editing and filming to produce polished, engaging outputs.
- Aesthetic Sensitivity: Strong understanding of visual composition and aesthetics suited to digital platforms.
- Self-Starter Attitude: Ability to manage projects independently, handle multiple tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Adaptability: Readiness to handle various shooting scenarios and adapt to rapidly changing digital trends.
- As our Video Editor, you will not only shape the visual narrative of our brand but also directly engage our audience through compelling visual storytelling.
Preferred Skills:
- A video editor with 2-3 years of relevant experience in the field, with expertise in graphics design and motion graphics.
- Prior experience as a Motion Graphics Designer as well as a portfolio of sample projects.
- Experience shooting and editing videos with professional cameras in multi-camera setups.
- Demonstrated ability to create visually appealing and engaging content for social media platforms.
- Highly Experienced in using video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, and After Effects, and familiarity with professional video cameras and equipment.
- Sound knowledge and demonstrable experience in creating and managing multimedia content in a range of formats.
- Knowledge of video and audio production and editing skills.
- Experience in social media content creation.
