Job Summary:

  • We are seeking a highly motivated and creative Video Editor Intern to join our dynamic team.
  • The ideal candidate will have a passion for video editing, storytelling, and a strong desire to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.
  • As a Video Editor Intern, you will work closely with our experienced video production team to create engaging and visually compelling content.

Responsibilities:

Editing and Post-Production:

  • Edit raw footage into polished videos, ensuring smooth transitions, proper pacing, and visual coherence.
  • Incorporate music, sound effects, and graphics to enhance the overall production quality.
  • Color correction and grading to maintain a consistent visual style.

Content Creation:

  • Collaborate with the creative team to brainstorm and develop video concepts.
  • Bring creative ideas to life through effective storytelling and visual communication.
  • Organization and File Management:
  • Manage and organize video assets, ensuring efficient file structures.
  • Keep track of project timelines and deadlines.

Collaboration:

  • Work closely with other team members, including videographers, writers, and graphic designers, to ensure cohesive and high-quality content.
  • Incorporate feedback from team members and stakeholders.

Technical Proficiency:

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest video editing trends, techniques, and software.
  • Troubleshoot and problem-solve technical issues related to video editing software and hardware.

Qualifications:

  • Strong proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve).
  • Basic knowledge of video production processes and equipment.
  • Creative mindset with a keen eye for visual storytelling.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • A portfolio or reel showcasing previous video editing projects (if available).
