Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain the company website using WordPress.
- Implement and customize WordPress themes and plugins to meet specific business requirements.
- Ensure the website is responsive, user-friendly, and optimized for performance.
- Collaborate with the design and marketing teams to implement new features and functionalities.
- Troubleshoot and resolve website issues and bugs in a timely manner.
- Perform regular website updates, backups, and maintenance tasks.
- Optimize the website for search engines (SEO) and ensure it adheres to best practices.
- Ensure website security and implement measures to protect against threats and vulnerabilities.
- Provide technical support and training to internal teams as needed.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our website remains competitive.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a WordPress Developer with a strong portfolio of previous work.
- Proficiency in front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
- Experience with PHP and MySQL for backend development.
- Strong understanding of WordPress themes, plugins, and architecture.
- Familiarity with website optimization tools and techniques.
- Knowledge of SEO best practices and tools.
- Experience with version control systems, such as Git.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with website analytics tools, such as Google Analytics.
- Understanding of web hosting and domain management.
- Experience with graphic design tools, such as Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator.
