Job Summary

  • The Pre-Sales Specialist is responsible for supporting the sales team with technical expertise, solution design, and product demonstrations during the sales process.
  • This role bridges the gap between customer needs and the company’s technical offerings. The ideal candidate combines strong communication and presentation skills with deep technical knowledge to influence buying decisions and enable successful sales conversions.

Responsibilities
Sales Enablement & Technical Support:

  • Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer requirements and propose tailored solutions.
  • Provide technical input in RFIs, RFPs, and proposals.
  • Deliver engaging and value-driven product demonstrations to potential clients.

Solution Design & Customization:

  • Design and recommend solution architectures that align with customer needs and business goals.
  • Develop proof-of-concept (POC) projects to showcase product capabilities.
  • Customize product configurations or recommend integration strategies where needed.

Client Engagement:

  • Serve as the technical liaison during pre-sales engagements and respond to technical inquiries.
  • Conduct product workshops and pre-implementation meetings with key stakeholders.
  • Build strong relationships with prospects by translating complex technical features into business benefits.

Collaboration & Handover

  • Work closely with the implementation, product, and engineering teams to ensure seamless transition from pre-sales to project execution.
  • Provide feedback to product development teams based on market and client needs.

Knowledge Management

  • Stay up to date with industry trends, competitive landscape, and product updates.
  • Create and maintain pre-sales documentation, FAQs, and solution templates.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related fields.
  • Contribution to Zoho product revenue growth targets
  • Expansion of Zoho adoption across key B2B verticals
  • Building internal sales enablement capacity through mentorship
  • Increasing retention and engagement rates of Zoho users

  • Relevant certifications in software solutions, cloud platforms, CRM (e.g., Zoho CRM), or industry tools are a plus.
  • 2–5 years in a pre-sales, solutions engineering, or technical sales support role.
  • Experience in SaaS, enterprise software, or B2B technology environments.
  • Proven ability to work with sales and technical teams collaboratively.
