Job Summary:

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Art Director/Graphics Designer to join our Marketing team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in creating visually compelling content that aligns with our brand identity and resonates with our target audience. This role requires a strong understanding of design principles, proficiency in design software such as Canva, Adobe, Photoshop and Corel Draw, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. The Graphics Designer will collaborate with the Digital and Content Strategy Manager, Digital Marketing Manager, Copy Writer in supporting various departments to develop marketing materials, digital assets, and visual content that enhances our brand’s presence in the market across various channels, including offline, advertising, digital media, and in-store displays.

Responsibilities

Design and Development:

  • Create visually appealing graphics, illustrations, and layouts for digital and print media, including websites, social media, email campaigns, brochures, and presentations.
  • Develop and maintain brand guidelines to ensure consistency across all design work.

Collaboration:

  • Work closely with the marketing team to understand project requirements and translate them into creative design solutions.
  • Collaborate with product managers, copywriters, and other team members to produce cohesive and effective marketing materials.

Content Creation:

  • Design infographics, banners, and other visual content that enhances communication and engagement with our audience.
  • Develop and produce multimedia content for social media platforms, ensuring that designs are optimized for each platform’s specifications.

Project Management:

  • Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring that deadlines are met, and that work is completed to a high standard.
  • Maintain organized files and records of all design work, including revisions and final versions.

Innovation and Trends:

  • Stay updated on industry trends, design tools, and technologies to continually enhance the quality and efficiency of design work.
  • Experiment with new design concepts, styles, and techniques to keep the company’s visual content fresh and engaging.

Quality Control:

  • Review and proof all design work before publication or release, ensuring that it meets brand
  • standards and project requirements.
  • Ensure that all designs are visually consistent, aligned with the brand’s tone, and communicate the intended message effectively.

Client and Stakeholder Feedback:

  • Incorporate feedback from clients and stakeholders into design revisions while maintaining the integrity of the original concept.
  • Present design concepts and progress updates to stakeholders, explaining the rationale behind design decisions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, visual arts, or any related field.
  • Proven experience as a Graphics Designer, with a strong portfolio of previous work.
  • Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout techniques.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with
  • cross-functional teams.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Experience with motion graphics or video editing is a plus. Ability to travel as required.
