We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated ASIC/FPGA Design and Verification Engineer to join our dynamic team in Lagos, Nigeria. In this role, you will work as a consultant, collaborating with our US-based clients' teams on cutting-edge semiconductor projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ASIC/FPGA design and verification, along with excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement ASIC/FPGA solutions based on client specifications.
  • Develop and execute verification plans to ensure the functionality and performance of ASIC/FPGA designs.
  • Perform RTL coding, synthesis, and timing analysis.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, system architects, and hardware designers.
  • Conduct design reviews and provide technical guidance to ensure design quality and compliance with industry standards.
  • Debug and resolve design and verification issues.
  • Document design and verification processes and methodologies.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies in ASIC/FPGA design and verification.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in ASIC/FPGA design and verification.
  • Proficiency in RTL coding using VHDL or Verilog.
  • Experience with simulation tools such as ModelSim, VCS, or similar.
  • Strong understanding of digital design principles, including timing analysis and synthesis.
  • Experience with FPGA tools such as Xilinx Vivado, Altera Quartus, or similar.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard verification methodologies such as UVM or SystemVerilog.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
