Responsibilities
- Design and Develop APIs: Create, maintain, and optimize APIs for digital wallets, virtual accounts, and banking functionalities, ensuring high performance, scalability, and security.
- Collaborate on Architecture: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement the architecture of backend systems that power our banking solutions.
- Security and Compliance: Implement robust security measures and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, including data protection and privacy.
- Optimization: Continuously improve the performance and efficiency of backend systems to provide an exceptional user experience.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues to maintain the stability of our systems.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation for APIs and backend systems to facilitate seamless integration for internal and external stakeholders.
- Stay Current: Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and emerging technologies in the fintech and banking domain.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Backend Engineer with a focus on developing APIs, particularly in the areas of digital wallets, virtual accounts, or banking is a must.
- Strong proficiency in Backend programming languages.
- Experience with API design, development, and documentation.
- Knowledge of secure coding practices and cybersecurity principles.
- Familiarity with database technologies and data modeling.
- Understanding of financial industry regulations and compliance is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work well in a collaborative team environment.
