Job Descriptions.

  • Conduct structural analysis and design of telecommunication towers, rooftops, and associated structures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Utilize structural engineering software and tools to perform load calculations, simulations, and modeling.
  • Provide recommendations for structural modifications or reinforcements as needed.
  • Ensure that all designs and modifications adhere to regulatory guidelines.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including RF engineers, project managers, and contractors, to integrate structural requirements into overall project plans.
  • Work closely with external vendors and contractors to ensure the successful implementation of structural solutions.
  • Implement quality control measures to ensure the reliability and durability of structural designs.
  • Conduct assessments of existing structures to identify potential issues and propose preventative measures.
  • Prepare and maintain comprehensive engineering documentation, including design reports, drawings, and specifications.
  • Create as-built documentation for completed projects.
  • Assist in project planning, scheduling, and budgeting related to structural engineering aspects.
  • Provide timely updates to project managers and stakeholders on the progress of structural engineering tasks.
  • Lead and manage your team, providing guidance, mentorship, and technical support.
  • Training of new intakes and existing teams on current relevant software.
  • Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment, encouraging continuous learning and professional development.
  • Perform and analyze department plan.
  • Perform any other duty commensurate to your position as assigned by the Management.

Skills:

  • Proficient in TNX TowersSoftware, Shapebuilder, AutoCAD, MS Towers, and other relevant Software.
  • Solid understanding of Tower drawing/interpretation.
  • Extensive experience in the Telecoms or IT industry.
  • Ability to perform job functions to standards under pressure.
  • Technical optimization capability, supporting multi-client equipment.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to communicate effectively within various areas and functional groups of the company.
  • Demonstrates excellence, integrity, creativity, team spirit, commitment, customer-centricity, empathy, and safety consciousness.
  • Familiarity with the operator’s framework, processes, business, and operations.

Qualification.

  • At least 3 years in the telecoms Industry as a structural engineer.
  • Master’s degree in Structural Engineering.
  • Any relevant professional certification.
